Junior Technical Superintendent (Tug and Barge)

Nusantara Shipping Solutions is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Technical Superintendent (Tug and Barge) to join our growing fleet operations team in West Jakarta. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the technical maintenance, repairs, and regulatory compliance of our tug and barge fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations. As a Junior Technical Superintendent, you will work closely with our team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that our vessels are in top condition. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. This role offers a chance to develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience in the shipping industry.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee the technical maintenance and repairs of the tug and barge fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians to schedule and execute maintenance activities.
• Monitor the performance of vessels and equipment, identifying and addressing any technical issues.
• Ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of technical improvement plans.
• Provide technical support to the fleet operations team as needed.
• Participate in regulatory compliance activities, including audits and inspections.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical supervision, maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, including SOLAS, ISM, and ISPS.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (MMS) and computer-based maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) certificate.
• Valid STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF) certificate.
